If this is your ideas of an engaging interview then good help you. He’s not even fit to fetch Joe Rogan’s coffee (who is the the king of 🛎️ end podcasters).

Ive throughly enjoyed many of his podcasts and have backtracked through many. However… I put on his PC’ last week whilst I was soaking in a lovely hot bath. After 5 minutes, I realized I had put the wrong interview on. I was stuck… with my phone in the kitchen and the podcast playing through...Read full review »

Just having a chat with one of your mates that’s hit a hard time. People open up. Sound quality is good. Variety is good. Can’t wait for more.

Love listening. James is very naturally inquisitive so unlike other podcasts I feel he has no agenda other than to genuinely hear his guests stories. Yes I’m throwing shade at Diary of a CEO. Also he has a knack of asking all the question we would want to know without any ego or pretentious...Read full review »

James English's inability to challenge his guests further underscores his pseudo-intellectual facade. Rather than engaging in rigorous debate, he acquiesces like a compliant puppy, nodding along to anything presented to him. This lack of critical engagement diminishes the authenticity of his...Read full review »

I’ve found these podcasts to be some of the best I’ve listened to, James let the guests speak and not own it when it’s about the guest.

Only been listening to some of these in last couple weeks but James asks really good questions in that probing reporter kind of way Really good podcasts enjoy listening if only people wouldn’t keep interrupting me

All fascinating stories. Joey Barton has definitely changed my outlook on things. What a humble, real, straight talker. Larry the hit man was also phenomenal. That’s some real life gangster stuff we all have dreamt about at some point. Unreal

I wish I could write a review on individual episodes, but this one is of 392 with Sean Scott Hicks. I’m most likely going to listen to it a second time as it is so in depth of a life of a family member that realizes they need to live their own life. I loved the fact that Sean was so open about...Read full review »

Joey Barton podcast was the best one yet, even though a 4 hour episode it was riveting.

One of the best podcasts there are at the minute. The guests get better and better. James holds no punches and asks all the questions others would be too scared to ask. Just fabulous 👋

A platform that gives massive exposure to far right bigots and misogynists. The interviews are soft and just weak

Wow
Samantha’s story has got to be one of the most upsetting stories I’ve ever heard ,but a massive well done for turning her life around xx

I listen religiously week in and week out. Some of the guests on the show are absolutely fascinating, interesting and touch on so many things that relate to so many people that go unspoken. So thanks James. You’re the nuts 😊

Found this as an advocate for criminal justice in the us looking into the Luke mitchel case. From Glasgow originally but now in the us.. brings me back love all the stories!!! Great hosting allowing his guest to take the reigns and tell their truth without interrupting well done

This man would have on Jimmy Saville if he could and he’d probably say something like “We’re all misunderstood creatures, nobody cares about YOUR mental health, Jimmy”

Really enjoyed the James Cosmo interview. Such a brilliant person to have on the podcast. James English you make me laugh with your questions and comments and you build a great rapport with your guests. Thank you for an entertaining drive home!
Pento66 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 10/10/23
Some of the first episodes are good but now there’s a lot more interviews with no real stories. Also there’s no real interview skills here, just the same standard questions. Poorly edited too, what’s with the ads coming in mid sentence 🙃

Outside of my go to football podcast this is my favourite podcast. James comes across as a top guy who’s had his own troubles but turned a corner and is not only making a positive impact on his in life but makes his guests feel comfortable enough to open up. Some fascinating topics are covered.

Thank you so much for telling your story. I don’t know what to say after listening to it. But I will certainly take or rather, inforce more firmly, your words on kindness and more…. I think you are amazing for what you have done after coming to England. Words are not enough.
