Good ‘cast, but too few & far between
No one knows pop culture, especially the soundtracks that accompany said ephemera like James Lileks. His podcasts, however, are too few and far between. No episodes between January and April, and the last episode of this ‘cast was 4/12. Is there really that little to work with? Make me think that Mr. Lileks just gets bored and moves on, as it seems has happened with his previous ‘cast titled ‘The Diner’ - another Lileks podcast that just seemed to fade away.

This truly is a ramble, but an entertaining and educated one. The music clips played are great. Who knew John Williams borrowed the Star Wars them from an old Western? I did't before. James’ mellifluous voice and extraordinary wit come together for an enjoyable thematic audio romp that echo’s Ken Nardine’s Word Jazz of many years ago. The tease is that there are so few of these.
