I enjoy this podcast immensely, and recommend it highly. I discovered it in episode Seven, and then went back and listened to all earlier episodes. I loved every one, and delighted in each subsequent edition. My only regret is that Mr. Lileks only occassionally produces new episodes.

I'm a lontime fan of The Diner serie, also in iTunes. The Ramble seems to be the next iteration of James' imagination. Although we're still waiting for the Star Trek episode.

No one knows pop culture, especially the soundtracks that accompany said ephemera like James Lileks. His podcasts, however, are too few and far between. This truly is a ramble, but an entertaining and educated one. The music clips played are great. Who knew John Williams borrowed the Star Wars them from an old Western? I did't before.
