Lots to enjoy. Sometimes excessively irrelevant detail, ie Mafia bios
Exceptionally thorough, free and ad-free content by a very caring, patriotic, likable and articulate podcaster. Such a gift to us all. Some frustrating criticisms, one significant for me as an interested newbie to the subject, another just annoying and one so minor I could have skipped it for sure: 1. Just as the podcaster described about a former colleague of who sometimes provided a mindnumbing mountain of nonessential information, he too does so frequently and also twists the order of info from facts then analysis to analysis then facts. I find myself feeling increasingly frustrated with both this degree of mind numbing detail and particularly this reverse order. Before analysis, we newbies need to first hear the essential evidentiary facts before processing all the nonessential although relevant detail and then your analysis of detail — especially if you want us to listen like jurors. Episode 64 is an excellent example of the analysis then facts order. More than the first half of the episode was spent discussing various details of conspiracy theories about the autopsy before any basic facts were presented. AND it wasn’t until Episode 68 that the autopsy results were clearly and simply specified. In fact, this episode is one presented in an excellent, straightforward way ( although I think you redundantly reiterated all the names and offices of the people at the autopsy.) If you are new to the basic facts like myself, Episode 68 should have preceded 64. It’s like you tell the story backwards and makes it unpleasantly hard to follow. I so wish you would just switch the order of his storytelling and tell the basic facts first. Just the facts. Then detail your analysis as well as others’. Please! Episode 82 demonstrates it well too. Having just listened to the Almost Meghan Kelly episode made me think that detailed synopsis would make a great episode one. 2. Excessively irrelevant details became annoying. I don’t need to know lots of biographical detail of various Mafia bosses to understand the Kennedy assassination. 3.Your pronunciation of a number of words is incorrect, including the word pronunciation, which is not prō•noun•see•ā’•shun. Wound is pronounced “wünd” and not “wōnd”. Etc. 🤓 I’d paste the Merriam Webster’s online pronunciations but upon later review, it seemed twice to have caused the entire review to be deleted for some inexplicable reason. So this is this my 3rd time reiterating my review! 🤪 PS. Can I please ask for your homemade sandwich recommendations? 😊😋

More reviews of JFK The Enduring Secret
Very detailed and seemingly balanced look at the case, I hope this addresses a detail I never understood if it was a conspiracy which I think it was, is how Oswald got the job at the depository as this seems an unrelated coincidence. Yet many factors were in place in the months and years leading...Read full review »
