Wotcha, kids. It's a Christmas Ramble. A Chramble, yes, that's correct. Having said that, there's little actual festive content but there IS wrestling, Charles Dance, Arthur Scargill, Star Wars (1977's "Star Wars", no Force Awakens stuff here), Mean Girls 2, Tony Way, pushing the limits of what constitutes a "joke"etc. It's 48 minutes of your life you won't get back, so maybe multitask while you listen. Merry things, and a happy new things!

Now, be warned: it IS another ramble and it is mostly wrestling chat again but the main topic of conversation was prompted by a question on our Facebook group, what are our result predictions for this year's WrestleMania event. If you'd prefer to have greater control over the future course of an episode, all you need do is ask us a question that requires much debate either via email ([email protected]), Twitter (@JCDoThing), or the Facebook group itself...

It's a Royal Ramble! To be honest, Joe & Chris expected that this week's Thing would be an unthemed Ramblecast, taking in various topics that were on our minds at the time but we were completely over-run by our opening gambit, the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble and the reaction to it. So, the long expected day (the day we SOLELY talk about pro wrestling) is upon us. Do we disagree on the Rumble outcome? Do we make Reigns look strong? Do we use Dolph Ziggler's real name? (yes) Do we use Dean...

Festive balls, kids! Episode 4 of our podcast intersects with the timing of that new craze: Christmas, so we thought we'd dip a festive toe in and really get a sense of what it's all about. Well, we didn't really. We just watched two things we liked and talked about them. Chris is endlessly fascinated by things that are big news for a short space of time and then become almost obscurely small not too long after their initial release (like Peter Gabriel's legitimately big hit single Steam)....

You'll always find contrary opinions to even the most popularly-held beliefs, but as a general rule, Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey is much loved, or at least respected, whereas Robert Wise's shepherding of the Star Trek crew to the silver screen eleven years later in Star Trek: The Motion Picture is frequently the subject of much scorn or mocking. Do we feel this opinion is fair, or are we hoping for the so-called "Slow-Motion Picture" to have a cultural renaissance? Join...

Welcome to episode 2. Just a ramblecast this week about stuff that's been on our minds and to ease us in as we get to grips with this kind of "without a net" format where we suddenly realise that our four years of podcasting experience means nothing. Lots to talk about, of course: the Star Was trailer, C.M. Punk's recent revelatory podcast appearance, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre series, trying to enjoy the Bayonetta games without feeling like a creepo perv and failing to create the right...

Welcome to the pilot of Joe & Chris Do a Thing, from the creators of Doctor Who: The Eleventh Hour Podcast (www.ehpodcast.com). We're not experts on the subject of James Wan and Leigh Whannell's SAW franchise, but we are big casual fans and as such, we wanted to kick off this new podcast with a long but casual chat on the series without getting bogged down in something like "research". We cover the whole seven-movie series, passing through the directorial hands of Darren Lynn Bousman,...
