“If you are looking for a "Fire & Brimstone" sermon, or if you are looking for inspiration to be a confrontational Christian, look elsewhere. There are plenty of preachers that fit that bill, Fred Phelps comes to mind .
However, if you are looking for a perspective that shows just how relevant the Word can be in our hectic, modern lives, slow down & give Joel Osteen a fair listen. What make Joel unique is that he actually helps the listener match up common sense solutions with biblical solutions. I am not a "holy roller", but I now find myself having a realtionship with God, due in part to Joel's advice.
If you are not interested in becoming a Christian, he is still worth a listen. He is not condescending to non-believers. A podcast worth subscribing to.”Read full review »
