Deadly Fruit for Itching Ears
I once read, loved, and drank in the teaching of John Eldredge. The end result was not a greater love and adoration of Jesus Christ but a greater love and desire for Jesus Christ to make much of me. If you desire true freedome drink in the Words of Jesus himself, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciple, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." A lack of satisfaction with the love of God has nothing to do with His love, His ability to communicate it, or that it has not already been fully revealed in the Word of God (all 66 books of the Bible)...but comes because of unbelief in what Jesus has already said. Learn from my errors and return to the pure Word that comes from God, that is opened to us by God, and do not be so easily satisfied with the pondering of your own heart (or someone else's pondering of his own heart) but of the maginificent love of God through his Son, Jesus Christ. Christ died for sins, he was buried, and on the third day he rose and was witnessed by over 500 people at one time before he ascended to receive the Glory the Father gave him because He loved Jesus before the foundation of the world.Read full review »

This has turned into a podcast about men who are seeking to follow Christ with their whole being. ...Read full review »
