Not funny at all
I'm not even going to say "I don't get this". I get it. Jesse Thorn has a good radio voice, but his dialogue and tempo came straight out of the lamest public radio can. Jordan Morris doesn't help -- he's too timid and precious to be an effective color commentator. I mean, this isn't even close to as funny as limited public radio shows like Car Talk or Wait Wait ... Don't Tell Me, not to mention not being in the same league as most all essential TV comedy (Monty Python, Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), podcasts/radio shows (The Best Show on WFMU, Cafe of Shame on WZBC-Newton), sketch comedy (Flight of the Conchords, Olde English), or improv comedy (Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade). Even if they couldn't come up with their own stuff, great artists have been known to steal, as there is a ton of massive funny out there to steal from. These guys are not artists, or comedians. Do not waste your time.Read full review »
