Fantastic
In my opinion, this fantastic podcast succeeds in being both seriously traditional and seriously radical in how these issues related to sex and sexuality are discussed (though obviously my sense of that is influenced by where I am in the community). Dr. Marcus and Rabbi Linzer and the moderator, Rebecca Honig Friedman are all amazingly modest yet also not afraid to show how smart they are. The Rabbi and Dr. model friendly but serious disagreement. The whole thing is enlightening, refreshing, and cracks open such important areas -- for women to be involved in the discussion of traditional attitudes towards sex; for people to really listen to each other and agree or disagree harmoniously; for people just to talk about this part of life that tends to make all of us (religious or not) squeamish but we know is so important. Thank you to those who make the podcast!

Speakers not speaking clearly and cross conversations interrupt flow of information. Not continuing to listen although the topics are interesting.

I don't agree with everything the rabbi says, but this show opens many important conversations. A great contribution to the Jewish community.Read full review »
