I really wanted to like this podcast.
I really wanted to like this podcast because apologetics aren't touched on in many places within the larger church. The "Transgender Bathroom" episode was unfortunate because the host welcomed a guest whose thoughts were so contradictory to even her own statements. I'm accustomed to this podcast having guests who have multiplicity of and nuanced thought. This episode is this reason why I can no longer recommend this podcast to other Christian and non-Christian friends who are trying to learn more about their relationship to God and the nature of God. It was essetially every regular, run of the mill, "don't be gay" church lecture/sermon/symposium I've sat through, which is not what I was looking for. The only saving grace for this podcast, for me, is the one with Otis Moss III. Aside from that, I'm going to have to pass on this podcasts :( I REALLY wanted to like this podcast. I wish the creator the best in her ministry.Read full review »

I go to an HBCU and I’ve encountered a lot of questions regarding white supremacy+slavery+the church etc and this podcast has really helped me wrangle with those topics. Keep it up!
