So respectfully done.
This really puts in perspective how our culture takes advantage of vulnerable people and turns them into a spectacle. This is so kindly and respectfully done and exposes the truth of what happened to these poor girls. How different their lives may have been had they had the correct diagnosis and support early on in life. As someone who had selective mutism as a child and a non speaking autistic son this story really struck a chord with me. I think today they would have been diagnosed with autism.
