“Finding this podcast was a pleasant surprise. The technical quality was a bit sketchy at first, and their intros are a bit awkward (at least in the early episodes that I have listened to), but once the hosts get going into the subject at hand (the episode’s chosen King book) – their discussions were fascinating and addictive listening. They can sustain your interest for the entirety of their lengthy episodes. I love the deep dives in the texts, and I appreciate the time they take to dissect, explore, and discuss. They are confident, easy speakers and they know their stuff. They are critical of King’s writing at times, and they call him out on some aspects of his writing – which I like. There is respect for the King of Horror, but they are not reverent fanatics either – so the result is a well-balanced, deep dive into his books. There are things to be learned here. Highly recommend!”
