In case either of y’all were looking to move to the Houston, TX suburbs anytime soon (I don’t recommend it), may I interest you in a house on Castle Discordia St in Katy, TX? I came across it recently at my job - I’m sure no horrors will befall you there! Just around the corner is Rose Trellis...Read full review »

I listen to this podcast back to back with the Loser’s Club. It makes me laugh because the opinions from each podcast is so wildly different. Just King Things is worth the listen if only for the bizarre pronunciation of words -and even more bizarre music taste.

Interesting, thoughtful, hilarious, and weirdly soothing? Wouldn’t have thought I’d want to listen to two men w/PhDs review SK novels before I fall asleep at night, but here we are. Highly recommend

I found this podcast from multiple recommendations on other podcasts. I decided to binge the whole thing listening back to back while working in a machine shop in rural New Hampshire. …the country is reeling from the carnage of the rescission and the death of Leslie Nelson. I am 14 years old and reading my very first Stephen King novel: Cell(2009). I recall thinking the book was okay. I am very excited to find out in spring 2025 if my opinion was correct.

I’ve listened to every episode of Just King Things and although doing so has not compelled me to read a single page of Stephen King, it did get me to read Michael Wehunt’s Greener Pastures, which is a phenomenal horror short story collection, and I am deeply grateful to the show’s hosts Michael...Read full review »

When I adopted my cat, he hid under the bed for a full week. My roommate and I tried to read books to him out loud to get him used to our voices. Cameron and Michael do such a good job of folding together criticisms of King and contextual/biographical information with what is clearly a labour of love from two massive King-heads. Fantastic podcast. Has given me the uncontrollable urge to share Stephen King trivia (and then explain why I know it by plugging the show), plus it made me unable to hear Bill Skarsgård’s Pennywise as anything other than a Michael-and-Cameron-doing-a-bit voice. Hoo hoo hoo.
