“Contrary to Cameron’s scoffing that it could possibly be a real thing, “bean-hole supper” is a real meal that was crucial to Maine’s history as a logging community. In fact, the Patten Lumbermen Museum has been hosting monthly commemorative bean-hole suppers since 1965 as a site of education and celebration. I’m not gonna let you dismiss Maine’s beautiful bean heritage as a possible King fabrication. Oh no no no no no.
I listen to this wonderful podcast for Steve. But leaving a review? I do that for beans.”
