A little objectivity wouldn’t hurt
It really doesn’t matter how many times they say “we just want to find out who was responsible”, it’s pretty clear the host and family think it was the husband. Why else would you petition the Federal Government to allow a prosecution in Australia? Why else would you call the podcast “Just Married”? The high water mark for the prosecution is that their marriage was a bit difficult, husband was alone for a fairly short period beforehand and the family doesn’t like the way he acted afterwards. All of those are explainable and the podcast goes to no effort to concede so. Instead it unfairly criticised the AFP for not devoting extensive time and resources into a trial where an acquittal is inevitable.

Great podcast, but please stop playing music when people are speaking. Makes it challenging for hard of hearing folk.

Taking way too long between the first and follow up episode. Lost interest

I had no knowledge of this case but it clearly stereotyped the husband because of his sexuality. Not saying there wasn’t room for improvement in the investigation but the journalists and the sad family clearly were only interested in pursuing the husband.
