Devastating that this is the first I have heard of this case. I followed The Teacher’s Pet from its debut to the killer’s conviction - incredible what people can get away with when we turn a blind eye to injustice. Keep fighting that good fight. Podcast justice may not be optimal but thank god we...Read full review »

Review only for the podcast (What happen is absolutely terrible) The Podcast however not great very drawn out it could have been over in two episodes .

I had no knowledge of this case but it clearly stereotyped the husband because of his sexuality. Not saying there wasn’t room for improvement in the investigation but the journalists and the sad family clearly were only interested in pursuing the husband.

The podcast started off ok, and I feel for Anthea and her family, but an exploration into how trauma may have also affected Jeff’s behavior in the months and years that followed would have led to more comprehensive storytelling. Instead, the podcast builds an unconvincing case against Jeff and...Read full review »

Great podcast Ben Avery and co!

May I ask why the knife is not discussed in detail? Anthea’s blood clearly on it but was there no fingerprints? If not, did someone use gloves. One possibility is that Anthea and Jeff got in a deadly altercation after she threatened to expose him for being gay or a jealous gay lover killed...Read full review »

Ben and team, thank you. I’ve been captivated by this story and truly wish the Bradshaw family find justice and the peace that I hope it provides. May I politely ask why the Brunei royalty connection has not been discussed further? Is it purely legal? Surely I’m not the only person wondering how...Read full review »

Seems like Anthea and Jeff were very close; best friends before married. Seems like Anthea wasn’t a volatile person. That said imagining she would have been fairly understanding if Jeff revealed his homosexuality albeit understandably possibly initially upset that he hadn’t fessed up before the...Read full review »

A very well-presented podcast about a deeply important case. I hope there is justice for the family and that this podcast can yield more evidence and activity in the case.

I hope this podcast triggers some sort of action and result. Good on you the journalists for picking up the work of the police. Thank god for you Ben Avery, and all the other journalists that a opening up cold cases. A massive amount of work and an amazing job.

It really doesn’t matter how many times they say “we just want to find out who was responsible”, it’s pretty clear the host and family think it was the husband. Why else would you petition the Federal Government to allow a prosecution in Australia? Why else would you call the podcast “Just...Read full review »

Such a heartbreaking breaking situation for a lovely family. This podcast was so drawn out and should really have only taken a few hours to explain the facts and, the interviews. Much appreciated nevertheless. May this family find answers for beautiful Annie ❤️

Excellent podcast Ben . Kudos to you for helping this poor family in pursuit of justice for Anthea where those who should be doing so have failed them. Sheryl M ( an Aussie in Canada )

Why is an Australian podcast playing so many American propaganda commercials?! It’s so distracting from the story

Great podcast. Did it occur to anyone that Jeff may have been checking for cameras and bugs as he planned to commit this crime and didn’t want to be found out? Just a theory. Cheers

The episodes are done well, and it’s good storytelling. It feels a little too much like the reporter has already made up his mind that the husband is guilty, though, and keeps presenting the slight evidence they have that could possibly lean in that direction, meanwhile, not spending enough time...Read full review »

The brother needs to start moving forward. He cares more about his dead sister than his wife, children and the now. Completely baffling. My child died 7 years ago and living undone is not living at all.

Good and very responsible journalism, but not great storytelling. Could have accomplished more within each episode. Feels a bit like they dragged everything out unnecessarily.

I’m really enjoying this podcast. Ben is very succinct. I live around the corner from Pembroke school so in some weird way I feel I have an affinity with these two young people. This isn’t the classic husband kills wife situation. So few clues but some mysterious aspects that keep you wondering. It’s told tastefully and with added information each episode.

There’s not enough compelling evidence presented to say the husband killed her. There’s more evidence showing he didn’t and just because he’s gay doesn’t mean that he wanted her dead. The letter about the physical altercation between him and his wife are not enough to prove he wanted her dead or...Read full review »

I think this podcast has been produced brilliantly, with some compelling evidence, however, I am surprised that the theory that Jeff may have hired someone to kill Anthea, has not yet been presented (maybe I’m just jumping the gun)! I’m 5 episodes in and I still am not convinced that her husband was actually her killer. I appreciate getting all the details but the facts are stretched pretty thins across episodes. Typical of commercially produced podcasts. They struggle to let go of the boring tv crime show structure.
