Too Much Reasonable Doubt
I’m 5 episodes in and I still am not convinced that her husband was actually her killer. There’s just something off about the way this story is narrated in the suspicion that Jeff killed her and the way there’s not much if any physical evidence. I mean, there was no fingernail clippings, no behavioral changes even if he did somehow quickly pop out of work (without a vehicle) and then get back to work without any one being the wiser. You’ve got the last witness to see her alive describing her outfit pretty much accurately and then every other witness more or less corroborating his testimony. The family lost their beloved daughter and sister, but they’ve all decided to hang the guilt on Jeff years later because he decided to distance himself. None of his behavior is out of the ordinary, especially when you know he was gay and it was the 90’s in Australia. Unless something much more concrete is revealed there’s no way this man deserves to be held accountable for what happened to his wife.

Good and very responsible journalism, but not great storytelling. Could have accomplished more within each episode. Feels a bit like they dragged everything out unnecessarily.
