Adabraka in Accra was shaken on November 2 by a brazen daylight robbery that unfolded in full view of shocked residents. Four heavily armed and masked men attacked a man in a red Toyota Corolla parked near the busy market, resulting in one person suffering severe injuries.
The robbers swiftly forced their way into the Toyota, grabbing large sacks of cash stored inside. Within minutes, they loaded the bags into their getaway vehicle and fled the scene, still firing shots to keep bystanders at bay.
The Ghana Police Service is on a manhunt to arrest them to face justice.
Speaking to Adom News, residents said the robbery at Cabest Jewellery has left the community in fear and panic. They recalled a similar incident three months ago and are now calling for increased security in the area.
