Elitist and Out of Touch 👎🏽
Katie's Frank Lutz interview could not have been more classist and from a position of privilege when discussing the majority of Americans today who are struggling just to make ends meet. Katie and her co-host Brian seemingly couldn't get over the fact that almost half of Americans would not be able to afford a $400 unexpected expense -- and then there were those remarks about how if you really what to get a sense of today's struggle then go to the "buffet line" or a Denny's to check the pulse of America's working poor. Just the fact that this conversation kept referencing a group of Americans as "they" and "them" was 100 percent "otherism". I only continued to listen out of utter shock. I mean, who is Katie's intended podcast audience? A bunch of her rich friends? I only gave the show a second star because at least Frank tried to come across as sincere 🙄Read full review »
