This weekend! Our guest is Jeeti Pooni, motivational speaker, author and filmmaker. Jeeti Pooni has broken her silence of being sexually abused as a young child. Jeeti’s outing of the veil of silence has been a spark for much needed conversations to end the violence and abuse experienced not only by women in the Indian community but all communities. She is author of The Silent Stoning, and the driving force behind her documentary film Because We Are Girls. Jeeti is an advocate for cultural change, and voice for girls, boys, men and women that have suffered sexual abuse.
