“...but it's not exactly 'left, right, and center':
Robert Scheer: Extreme left, as in unhinged.
Arianna Huffington: Extreme left - she's about as 'independant' as Markos Moulitsas.
Matt Miller: Self-described left-leaning Democrat.
Tony Blankley: Garden-variety conservative.
That may not make for a pithy title like 'L, R, & C' but it would be a more accurate description. The show does live up to its 'civilized' billing, though Scheer does get his panties in a bunch anytime Tony or even Matt presents the slightest hint of a challenge to his ultra-liberal orthodoxy. I think Miller does a good job as host, but he even admits on the show that he's a Democrat -- is there no truly 'center' person out there to fill the role?
The bottom line is that it's a quick 29 minutes of addictive political banter for junkies like myself.”Read full review »

“Totally differnet from the inside the beltway mindset that dominates radio and television news-talk shows. A true example of left-coast political thinking.”Read full review »
