Best group discussion of issues in any media...
To those commentors who think the show has no center and leans way left, Tony Blankley is the clear right, Matt Miller is solidly in the center and Robert Scheer is the voice of the left. Arianna Huffington was a supporter of Newt Gingrich when the show was established and the original voice of the right. She has since come to her senses and now professes to sit outside of a left/right paradigm. Even though I rarely agree with him, Blankley gives the right a sane rational voice who speaks with complex perceptions about complex issues as opposed to the grade school emotional button pushing engaged by Hannity, O'Reilly, Coulter, etc. One commentor professed frustration with Scheer for being argumentative and repetitive. This is not the case. He is angry about the Iraq War for good reason and unlike many idealogues on the left, understands nuance and pragmatism. Was very much looking forward to hearing all sides of the issues discussed, but this show does not do that well. Scheer is awful to listen to, the other two are democrats, and then there is one soft spoken republican. Tony Blankley's presence is misleading: he's the only real right-wing voice, and he doesn't speak up much. The other three are a good deal left-of-center. A good listen, because no one goes overboard or lets their heart control their mind, but WAY to the left.Read full review »
