“Really enjoy this pod, and could listen to Mark wax lyrical on film for hours. I’d found Jack to be a welcome and engaging foil, and think some of the stick he’s come in for is unfair. But while I’m happy to listen as he discovers classics anew, I’m really not interested in his misplaced attacks on women in film and literature. Minimising abuse is a bad look however old you are, and letting pretty nasty accusations about women in the arts go unchallenged is a bad look as well. Shame.”
