How I Built This + Culture
Starting with the episode on Yemeni coffee, culture and business, it becomes immediately apparent that this is a podcast that understands the ofuscation of Middle Eastern customs and will be demystifying things promptly. And it does. In just a half hour the narration follows a personal narrative, cultural norms and values of Yemen, a history of war and pain, a future of entrepreneurial optimism and over seas fusion AND explains the importance of making love under a coffee tree. I have never been to the Middle East, and truly mean it when I say that this lone podcast has inspired me to visit, encoruaged positive roles and understandings and managed to humanize a region of the world horribly villified by these United States of ours. Thank you to the folks at Kerning Cultures.

Awesome podcast! Glad to see more local stories about the richness of culture and people in the Middle East as oppose to the all too common image of the Middle East being portrayed as extremists.
