It is usually the man who is seen as the idiot and gets the abuse.
Watch 3 episodes of American Mom.
The wife is “the Kevin”. The husband gets major abuse. I would never stay in a marriage like that.
Homer Simpson is the bafoon and he does not abuse his wife and he always looses in the end.
King of Queens and Kevin can wait. He is the bafoon and she never gets abused.
The only shows where there is real verbal abuse in All In the Family from 1972 and some in the Honeymooners. And that was in the 1950s
Then there are shows where everyone is the bafoon like Seinfeld and friends.
But I agree that Kevin Can F himself is an amazing show, I just disagree with a lot of the commentary.”
