“A potentially engaging story clouded by a self-centered narrator. 3 episodes of him cold-calling people and wondering why no one will speak to him (because he does the British waffle: “Hi, sorry, so sorry, but I’m ehhh, a journalist, ehhh, and I was wondering if you’d be so kind as to, ehhh...”) Producer finally tells him he needs to be more direct - I mean, this could be a matter of life/death, right? Annnnd another episode of waffling and a little bit of action, but mostly just the narrator/“journalist” talking about how important he is, how important his work is, and how hard it is. Unsubscribing now. I can’t listen to anymore of this guy. Shame, as the premise is really interesting.”
