What needs work
It pains me, PAINS me to say this but I was bored. I was NEVER bored listening to Greg and Colin on their Beyond! podcast. This is a review of what this first podcast was for me, but I firmly believe you guys have the magic to make this as special as the beyond podcast was if you are ok with hurting some feelings. Whose feelings might get hurt? Well, Tim's… Tim's feelings might get hurt. Here's what I loved about Beyond and what I think is missing in the current setup of this podcast. In Beyond! Greg hosted, he led the conversation, he also lead the tangents and encouraged them while still keeping things moving. Colin did this as well, Colin led his segments, he led the news bullet points which fostered the conversation. Greg was lead host, Colin was co-host and hurt feelings aside this worked, Tim hosting does not work. If Tim is going to be on the show he needs to be a third member who offers something constructive now and then but he should not be hosting, sorry Tim. Greg and Colin, you guys also had wonderful segments that were recurring each week which made me enjoy the flow of your Beyond! podcast better than any other podcast out there that I've listened to, this new show would benefit from that structure. Structure allows for tangents and also allows the host (which should be Greg) to move things along to the next structured segment when the current conversation runs stale. Greg and Colin, you guys have natural talent and instincts, when your nerves subside from this new venture and you can humbly but confidently own the talents you have in this area and kindly ask Tim to take a back seat, the show will be better for it. Tim, I have no ill will for you, you seem like a really nice guy. Since you guys are your own bosses now you need to be your hardest critics so that this new venture succeeds and for that reason Tim I think the show will be better if you take a back seat. I hope this review wasn't too harsh and I hope it helps in the long run. I really love all of you guys (you too Tim, I just don't think you should host) I want you guys to succeed, I want you to be happy, and I want you to find your groove. Best of luck and cheers!Read full review »

This show is setup very similarly to GameScoop where the guys gather together to talk about the latest gaming news. The guys are funny and the audio quality is superb. Be sure to check these guys, especially if you enjoy GameScoop or Podcast Beyond.

Love the guys, love what they're doing, HOWEVER, I'm not sure I'm feeling the pacing and fragmentation of the show. It works so effortlessly with the GameOverGreggy Show since every member brings a different topic, which makes the segmentation feel much more natural. However, it feels...Read full review »
