In 1969, the United States of America successfully sent the first men to the moon in the Apollo 11 Spacecraft. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first people to walk on the lunar surface. They left earth in a craft that was as big as a skyscraper and returned 10 days later in just a section of it about as big as a family van. Listen along to learn more about this incredible event!
