“I listen to a lot of podcasts about hobbies and interests and this one has stood out nicely because of its laid-back style that helps pass the time while commuting to work. Jim, Iain and the guest contributors all come across well with the right balance of British humour, banter and insight into their respective areas of strength.
This is not a deep knowledge podcast; instead, it's a general overview of all aspects of sking and snowboarding that gives you fairly detailed, bitesize chunks of info that can spur you on to go and do your own research about a range of subjects.
I only found it recently, as I gear up for an Easter ski trip, so I'm currently working through the archive of shows, but that's testement to good content; even when it's 'out of date' it's still enjoyable.
My only point of critique is transitions between audio sections need to be a bit slicker.... the overlaps are a bit blunt and jarring.
Otherwise, really enjoying what the guys do and have found some of their other media outlets (Jim's average skier instagram, Iain's skipedia page) so look forward to future content from them.”Read full review »

“Hi guys. Love the show but it would be great to hear some gear reviews. I would love to hear a review on avalanche airbags including battery/fan v canister. Thanks and keep up the good work. Scott (Dubai).”
