The KPC Showcase presented a Fisher Poets event on Oct. 22, 2015, at the Kenai River Campus. Many of the poets who perform at the annual gathering in Astoria, Oregon, presented their material related to celebrating the sea and the commercial fishing life. Featured poets include Dave Atcheson, Clark Whitney, Jr., Steve Schoonmaker and Meezie Hermansen.
