“Kumail's enthusiasm for the show is very genuine & infectious. I've only seen a handful of X-Files episodes (having been young enough for my parents to forbid me from watching it - too scary) but I watched the first two on Netflix before listening to this, and it really added to the experience. It felt like a fun weekly conversation that I wouldn't really be able to have now that fewer people are watching TV shows at the same time, much less week-to-week. I sincerely hope they continue to do every episode & not just the hits, because this podcast makes for a very enjoyable companion that puts the 20+ year old series into a historical context, while remaining really entertaining in its own right.
