See the future and prepare
As the world grows increasingly crazy about access to formerly cheap/free energy, Mr. Kunstler provides thoughts and ideas to help us figure out coping strategies. Mr. Crary and Mr. Kunstler provide a weekly look at a variety of energy-related topics with a breezy style that both entertains and informs. I also highly recommend Mr. Kunstler's book, The Long Emergency. Reading TLE three years ago caused me to completely rethink my lifestyle. After reading his book, I invited Mr. Kunstler to address a graduate class I was teaching and he kindly agreed to appear. I recently ran into a couple of students from that class and three years later they STILL remember his lecture. They did not necessarily like what Mr. Kunstler had to say ("But I really LIKE suburbia and Happy Motoring!") , but they REMEMBER. Mr. Kunstler's style and presentation is very memorable and thought-provoking. - Prof. KarlRead full review »

Jim and Duncan are doing a public service to America by educating us about some of the underlying problems affecting America today - the podcast is funny with a somewhat tongue in cheek attitutude towards the world. I really enjoy listening to it.
