Bitter, hyper-cynical, over caffeinated or just plain cranky are all words that could be used to describe Kunstler, a modern day Cassandra doomed to spot on revelations about the future of suburban life that few people (in power) seem to have the stomach to listen to. However, dismissing his writings or observations would be a mistake.
