“This is a great podcast for learning French, and I was really enjoying it until they released the episode about Simone Veil. The host champions her as an admirable woman because she survived the genocide of the Jews during WWII, and then went into French politics and supported abortion rights. Do the creators of this podcast fail to see the irony that Simone Veil escaped one genocide just to advocate for another?”
