The excessive use of the word whenever when the correct word is “when” is annoying. If it was occasional, you could possibly ignore, but multiple times in one episode makes me want to just turn it off.

Scot is ruining this podcast with his pointless comments and droning voice. When he shouts his name at the end I cringe every time!

Eh
The cohost is just really cringe and makes me not want to listen to this podcast which is sad because it seems to have a lot of potential. Please drop this guy and you’ll get much further.

Love Leah and Scott! I appreciate all the work you do. One observation, Leah, please stop saying woman when you should say women. I am so confused by why you consistently do this? Surely you know the difference between the two?

Leah does a pretty darn good job with this podcast, however her co-host adds absolutely nothing to it and comes across as nails on a chalkboard with his “more than obvious” comments. Choosing to unsubscribe for this reason since I have many others to listen to currently and not enough time to...Read full review »

I really enjoy this podcast. They have such an original take on these stories. They are respectful and thorough in their investigations.

Leah and Scott approach the stories of missing persons with kindness, care, and respect. Many true crime podcasts sensationalize stories like these, while LSA presents information and research meant to help bring missing loved ones home. I especially appreciate their trigger warnings on certain...Read full review »

Scott, please slow down and speak your words clearly at the end of the podcast. I’m new to listening to you both. I’m liking it a lot. I am a senior with Bluetooth hearing aids. Have trouble with Scott’s words dropping off at the end. Thanks for understanding! I tried, but I just can’t listen...Read full review »

Most of the podcasts are good. Scott makes a lot of the episodes unbearable though. Half the time, it sounds like he’s struggling to speak and slurs his words. He adds inappropriate and unnecessary comments and it makes me want to rip my hair out. It would be nice to listen to an episode where he...Read full review »

It’s a shame that the hosts feel the need to infuse talk of their stupid pitbulls and how much they love pitbills and how they get covered by blood when they go hunting any chance they get. Unsubscribed because even though the cases of missing folks could be intriguing to hear about, this husband...Read full review »

i love this show ive been listening everyday since i found it, im begging for scott to chill at the end and stop sounding so excited. it is kinda distasteful to hear such serious topics and hear that kind of sound off goodbye, just not really the time and place, while i really enjoy his comments...Read full review »

The male host sounds like a complete tool and he serves no useful role. His voice along with his inane (often ignorant) comments drive me bananas.

I am stuck at a desk all day working on a computer. I love listening to this podcast, it is my absolute favorite. The intonation of their voices are perfect and soothing. “Many local woman?” … many local WOMEN. Meaning more than one. Cringey to hear this over and over … first time listening and I can’t handle the monotone voices.

Like many reviewers here I find the delivery a tad hard to listen to (especially Scott) but I can get over that, what I don't like is when they push their personal agenda, it's happened a couple times, too much talk about their love of hunting was annoying but them implying co-sleeping...Read full review »

To me I will explain when I listen to music it has to engage me like the beat the singer too. He talks too slow. I put it on 1.25x to speed his sloooow monoootone boring voice, but it just made the girl too fast and scott was still too slow of a talker that i can’t even continue listening

There’s a lot of speculating and ‘I think’ comments from the hosts about insignificant details (who cares why she decided to sell a waterbed!?) which add no value to the stories. Making tedious links to completely unrelated cases is how gossip and misinformation happens - don’t try and over...Read full review »

How do you make a interesting story sound so boring. You take the fun and thrill out of the mystery.
Ruderunt via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/14/23
I feel like the hosts really care about bringing awareness and light to these cases, not just sensationalizing them. I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts and I await your podcast and am always checking to see if a new one has arrived. Your podcasts are at the top of my list with Body Bags from Joseph Scott Morgan Thank You for your diligence. Linda

The hosts dry delivery is hard to get through. The stories are great tho, so I’ll be a trooper. But try to get away from reading your script so hard. Also, anyone else think she’s mean to Scott? Very rude and condescending to him. Cringe.
Isaiah Luke via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/15/23
I love this podcast because each episode is under an hour, unlike a lot of true crime podcasts where you may have to invest 8 or 10 hours of listening time to to get to the end, all facts & theories about each murder in this one are neatly and succinctly summarized in under 60 minutes. It’s...Read full review »

I just started listening to this show and I really like it. My only recommendation is to eliminate the abrupt ending of the opening and closing theme music.
