Awesome story and very well told by Leah. However the male guest (didn’t catch his name) nearly ruined the story. I think you’d be much better off alone. Great job Leah!

Is it just me or do some of these stories just end abruptly mid sentence? Was there an error uploading audio? I need to know the end 😂 An example would be Lila and Moses.

Love the show. Appreciate the great care and effort you put into it. And the two-host format works just fine!

Leah’s voice is just too gloomy. Very depressing podcast

This podcast is one of my favorite! I’ve been listening to them from the start and I love all the details given by Leah! Scott is a valuable speaker on the show as well, I was upset to read a previous review saying he has nothing to add (smh). I enjoy the team of Leah & Scott, truly!! Thank...Read full review »

I’m an addictive podcast listener. I stumbled upon your podcast when it was mentioned on another popular podcast. I’m struck by a previous reviewer who said Scott doesn’t bring anything to the show is not accurate. There is a terrific balance of emotion, speculation, and realism that can’t be...Read full review »

I just came across this podcast last year. I love Leah’s soft, calming voice. I think Scott is funny and adds just enough to the podcast to keep me entertained (as much as one can be when regarding horrific crimes). This is actually my second favorite crime podcast. Keep up the great work Leah...Read full review »

I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts yes a lot! I listen to the most streamed and most popular true crime podcasts. You know them. Last Seen Alive is a podcast that I do not miss. Listening to Scott and Leah’s caring voices and heartfelt comments pull me into each episode and then I care,...Read full review »

Really enjoy the show and think Leah does a great job. Would love it if Scott was not part of it however. He adds nothing to the commentary and everything he says is so painfully stupid. Would be much better if Leah did it on her own!!

I've only just discovered this show and I'm really enjoying it. I was trying to find something similar to Casefile and this fits the bill nicely. Thanks so much for all your effort and research ☺️Read full review »

I’m sure the host means well but public speaking is not her strong suit. Her delivery is horrendous. The entire tone is just two people reading a piece of paper. I understand the need for a script. But delivery of said script is everything. This delivery is atrocious and unlistenable.
cognicide via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 08/30/24
It kills me when people complain about “reading a script”. The reader/host is usually the one that wrote it. Don’t y’all remember essays and speaking assignments in school and college? Did you memorize a 30 min to hour speech? I doubt it. To expect her to not have stuff written down is absurd....Read full review »

This is an interesting podcast- less commonly covered cases, decent research, thoughtful approach. It is spoilt by the flat, droning, affected voice of the male host. I doubt he realises he does it but it is such a 'learned' way of speaking currently and is so affected and irritating. It...Read full review »

What I like: 1. The host’s voice-she seems so nice, knowledgeable, and intentional. 2. She seems to research her cases. 3. I really like how she engages with her husband. It’s organic. Plus she respects him and it comes through. 4. She narrates a case and he responds unscripted. 5. It seems...Read full review »

This podcast features crimes that have seldom been heard of or discussed on other podcasts. Very interesting and at times heartbreaking for the families involved. The narrator has a lovely soothing voice and Scott interjects to add a little more interest to the narrative.

I have been trying to find true crime podcasts and story’s, and this one is just so perfect I love how Leah is quiet and genuine about it and I also really like Scott’s jokes too!
Screaming_Potato27 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/23/24
The host has a pleasant voice and does a good job of delivering the script. Her co-host brings nothing to the program and the show would flow much better without his repetitive and banal remarks. This could be a five-star podcast.

Just randomly found this podcast a few days ago and I’ve really enjoyed hearing a lot of cases I’ve never heard of, which is saying something bc as a total true crime junkie I’ve heard it all at least twice! “Because that would be psychotic.” In the episode about Ilene Miselhoff? The humor is always professional and appropriate but also fantastic. You guys are brutal in the best way possible. Love it.

You are discussing serious topics so please show respect. Nothing about these victims’ experiences is something to joke about. Your audience doesn’t want you to try to entertain us with your silly meandering conversation. Analyze seriously or be quiet.

These 2, are the reason this Podcast works, for me. The cases are fascinating, and intriguing, but it is the relationship between Leah and Scott, that keeps e listening. Why is Scott not listed as a Host? He is a very talented part of this Duo. Love Leah AND Scott!

I do like this podcast, but do have some gripes. Unlike a lot of reviewers, I think the co-host is fine, it's just the way his questions (or opportunity to ask one) seem written into the script that seems weird and unnecessary. Also, the voices when talking are okay but when reading...Read full review »

This podcast has a lot of potential. Both hosts seem intelligent and are both articulate….given that, why is it that Leah dominates most of the episodes?! It’s maddening! The excessive use of the word whenever when the correct word is “when” is annoying. If it was occasional, you could possibly ignore, but multiple times in one episode makes me want to just turn it off.

Love Leah and Scott! I appreciate all the work you do. One observation, Leah, please stop saying woman when you should say women. I am so confused by why you consistently do this? Surely you know the difference between the two?

Most of the podcasts are good. Scott makes a lot of the episodes unbearable though. Half the time, it sounds like he’s struggling to speak and slurs his words. It’s a shame that the hosts feel the need to infuse talk of their stupid pitbulls and how much they love pitbills and how they get covered by blood when they go hunting any chance they get.
