“I won’t lie - I miss Phillip incredibly! But I was excited when David Marr was announced to replace him on my favourite podcast. However, I have been very disappointed by David’s aggressive style. 29/07/24 was absolutely awful listening (interview with Robert Fisk's widow Nelofer)… just rude, pushy, not listening - it was really painful to listen to. I felt the same listening to the interview with Saree Makdisi. If this is your style David, I don’t think I’ll be the only one switching off, with a very heavy heart.
