Unfortunate. Missed Opportunity.
***This review is ONLY on the Law Abiding Biker podcast which I found to be completely useless. That being said, there some content on his LAB website that some might find useful. I subscribed to this podcast with high hopes. Being a Harley riding former LEO myself (30 years, retired), I was hoping for an intelligent podcast that did what they claimed they were going to do, pass on useful information. In that regard, this podcast is a complete fail. Each podcast is in the ballpark of 60 minutes. Of that 60 minutes, only a few of these minutes do they talk about anything useful. They don't go into any detail on the subjects they do talk about. The vast majority of each hour is sophmoric, grade school humor that consists of giggling like school girls when one of them farts, the size of their sexual organs, anal sex jokes (way too many anal sex references...what's up with that???) and other banal attempts at humor. This is more disturbing because these guys are Police Officers, and they claim in their intro, that this is a podcast for anybody (I'm assuming this includes kids that have an interest in either law enforcement or riding). There is almost no police related stories and very little motorcycle related stories worth your time. You get the impression listening to this podcast that Ryan thinks he's funny, but he's not unless you like that grade school level of humor. His podcasts are filled with irritating sound effects giving one the impression that Ryan just discovered a new sound effects machine that he likes playing with. One of the last podcasts I listened to was supposedly going to talk about Amzoil vs. Harley Oil. They had a guest speaker representing Amzoil that had a wealth of information, but wasn't able to get much of it out because Ryan kept interupting him with stupid comments, attempts at jokes and his endless sound effects. Even his guest was starting to show his irritation by making comments that he wanted to finish his thoughts before getting interupted. It was a very, very difficult podcast to endure. In the end, what should have been 25 minutes or so of information we all wanted to hear, it was maybe 5 minutes of anything useful. It's amazing to me that these guys are police officers. I guess it's the new generation of "public servent". It sure wasn't like that when I came on. I guess it's just further evidence of the dumbing down of society as evidenced by the TV and movies we get stuck with nowadays that cater to the imbicilie 7th grader. If you are interested in law enforcement and hope to maybe hear some interesting LE related stories, this is NOT your podcast. If you are interested in learing about motorcycles and motorcycle related products, this is NOT your podcast. If you love immature bathroom humor involving anal sex, the sizes of the host/co-hosts private parts, stupid annoying sound effects and what they consider witty banter, knock yourself out, you won't be disappointed. This is more a Vaudville act than a LEO biker podcast. In the interest of fairness, Ryan does put out some informative videos on his LAB website that contain useful information that might be of interest to some of you, but this podcast is a complete waste of time. I'll keep looking for a podcast that offers something useful and isn't simply a platform for someone who thinks he's a comedian to torture us with his routine.Read full review »

All episodes have some content that inform. Some episodes get into a great amount of info, others are derailed (good or bad depending on preference) with casual conversation (hence reference to The View). Kinda like a morning radio talk show. Sometimes good humor to keep things from getting too...Read full review »

Every entertaining. It's like hanging out with a group of guys who like motorcycles. Bikes aren't the topic 100% of the time, but that's ok with me.Read full review »

High quality informational podcast that covers all aspects of street motorcycling. Very entertaining host and guests. They present their topics in a down to earth biker style that includes information on the topic along with the type of banter only bikers have.
