Brilliant podcast
I’ve lived in Belgium my all life and I was 8 when Julie and Melissa were kidnapped, the same age as the girls. I remember that summer our parents’ warnings about talking to strangers and being extremely careful. Everybody was afraid and we couldn’t play in the street anymore. I was too young at the time to follow the Dutroux case and until today I had no idea about that possible wider network, about the failures during investigation, the incompetence of the Belgian authorities, the cover ups and all the loose ends. Graves’ investigation is really thorough, he studied every detail and possible leads. The listening is disturbing, I got more and more horrified as I kept learning new things in each episode. I even cried a few times. As a French native speaker, I thought it was pretty simple to understand. Graves is very articulate, although I wish there was a French version for the Belgian audience. Hopefully the case will reopen and questions will be answered.

It is very rare I make time for “appointment...Read full review »
