Well-written podcast
I love a well-written and presented podcast, and I’ll look forward to future episodes. One comment from E2: the narrator has obviously never been a teenage girl, or he wouldn’t say something to the effect of, it is a strange coincidence that the bar owner was also acting weird etc (stalking them) before they went missing. As a teen in the 70’s and 80’s, even as young as 13, I’m sorry to say there was no shortage of creepy older men following me and my friends in their cars and looking for creepy opportunities. It was a regular thing to be on our guards, spot them and avoid them. It was something we just had to deal with as soon as we reached puberty. We didn’t even really talk about it, we just saw the danger and acted carefully.

Great listen! That intro music gives me the creeps. This story is horrifying but well told! Highly recommend!

I was almost kidnapped in Belgium in 2008. I really lucked out… but now hearing this I wonder if there could’ve been any connections. Very sad and heart wrenching, but provided me some very useful info and context around the way the police treat these situations.
