Description
Amit Jain, co-founder of Mitti Ke Rang, grew up in a small town, India. He lost his father early in life and saw his mother struggle to raise him and his siblings. That gave him the determination to give his mother an easier life. Leaving his full time, well-paid job at Bank of New York Mellon after seven years of working, he co-founded Mitt Ke Rang in 2014. Initially Mitti Ke Rang started as widows empowerment with a vision for all widows and single women to be accepted by family and to provide resources and support to build their own lives.
Mitti Ke Rang now successfully works in 9 states in India, with primary centres at Pune and Hadapsar, and spread around 10 countries across the world such as in Pakistan, Zambia, Gambia, Kenya, France, Spain, Fiji and Nepal.
We invite you to listen to his story in Leadership Stories podcast this month.
