Is she really going to be the next Chancellor of the Exchequer?
I’ve been struggling to come up with reasons to vote for the Conservatives, historically for whom I have always voted, but Rachel Reeves has given me one reason. I thought she was vacuous and completely devoid of any real ideas about how to deal with our broken economy. It was telling when Alastair asked her what she would want to be remembered for and she couldn’t come up with anything other than what Alastair called “the job of every Chancellor”. She was argumentative and failed to answer any of Rory’s completely reasonable questions, choosing instead to attack him. It was a very poor performance from someone aspiring to hold one of the great offices of State. Heaven helps us if the Labour Party win a majority!

What a mind that man has. Agreed with so much of what David had to say. Give him his own podcast.
