Classic snapshot of thinking and insight
I find these leading podcasts excellent generally. The key to these is the questions asked by Rory and Alistair. Those questions come from their insight and bring the best out of (in this case) Hilary Clinton. I find the insight not only fabulously interesting but also personally relevant for my job. The message about managing and tending special relationships is a timeless classic of leadership. Here is the gold : 1. The right people to interview 2. The right interviewers with experience and insight behaving with a neutral stance 3. The right questions to ask 3. An interviewee ready to be relatively open to answer honestly and with insight. Finally I also enjoy when Rory and Alistair then give their review of the interview (‘I don’t think we pushed her enough on why she chose to work for Trump’ for example) I like to listen to these comments and then re-listen to the interview. I live a busy, time poor life, so the investment in time to listen is costly - but this podcast is worth the cost.
