I use the Rider Waite Tarot, but you can view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the King of Cups, focusing on reversals. Let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then its meaning when reversed. The King of Cups upright represents emotional mastery, compassion, and the ability to navigate difficult emotions with calm and control. He leads with both heart and head, showing empathy while maintaining balance. However, when the King of Cups is reversed, you may find yourself lacking emotional control at this time. Or, you might be dealing with someone else who is emotionally manipulative or unstable.  Court Cards often represent people, so these traits may belong to you or someone you know. The reversed King of Cups often points to overwhelming emotions, which can look like suppressed emotions for some people, and outbursts for others. This card urges you to examine how you handle these feelings, whether for you or someone you know. So what does that mean when we see the King of Cups reversed in a reading?
