“I've checked out a couple of other "learn to speak french" podcasts, and I've found this one to be the best! Aside from providing proper grammar and sentence construction, the French Ecole's instructor, Alexa, also tells you the preferred expressions, both the formal and casual ways of saying things in French. I also like how she explains why things are said the way they are in French when it may not make sense to us in English. It makes it easier to remember not to make mistakes when "translating" from English to French. I find the other "learn to speak French" podcasts quite boring, but the French Ecole podcast makes me want to learn French - it's entertaining and educational at the same time.”Read full review »

“Clear, easy to follow and upbeat podcast. A great way to learn and improve your French.
The podcasts are a convenient length (around 15-20 minutes), I often listen to them on the way home from work and later check the pdf vocab sheets to check how it all looks in writing.
