“Just to comment on blackbrn's last comment, that the ich is pronounced by the american as a 'shh' sound... this is pretty common in south west and central Germany. Areas such as Stuggart and Franfurt am Main use the 'shh' sound... Other areas like Berlin, Munich, and Klon pronounce it the proper way. It's all about where you are.
