“The quality of the host's English is amazing, and they always slow down at the right times...never assuming you fully know what they're talking about. You never feel patronised, you just feel that this is a fairly difficult language being taught at a reasonable pace. Fast enough so you feel pushed but slow enough so that you actually take things in. It's also great how it's two young people teaching you...no stuffy academics in sight, and this means you are also taught how to speak 'on-the-street' german (the english equivalent of saying 'hey man' instead of 'hello sir, how are you doing') which, at the end of the series, means you feel ready to, literally, go to Germany and start speaking to everyone.”Read full review »
