“I've listened to 40 or so lessons, and I'm already confident that I could survive in Japan. This podcast is so catchy that through me, my whole family and many friends are all speaking Japanese on a daily basis!
The lessons are to the point, and just full of little extras that broaden your knowledge past what you could get out of a textbook. The culture classes are sugoi! The lessons are the perfect length to listen to in the car, at the station, in between classes (!), whilst you eat your breakfast. It's practical to learn Japanese whilst going about your daily life.
I want to take Oriental Studies at Uni, and Japanesepod101 is helping me get there, so arigatou Peter, Sakura and Natsuko. You guys are making it easy and fun to access another language, and another culture.”Read full review »

“It would help if the host spent less time bigging up the website and more time explaining the language. Having said that it is an excellent podcast from which I have learned a lot. Arigatou gozaimasu.”Read full review »
