Japanesepod101 ga totemo suki desu!
Almost a year ago my three teenage daughters and I started watching streamed Japanese tv shows and began picking up so much about the culture and language. We started using some of the more common phrases, interjections, greetings in our daily interactions (much to my husband's...amusement?). I've always loved languages and am a speech-language pathologist so was trying to decipher some of the grammar points just as I read the subtitles. My daughters gave me a basic Japanese book/audio cd for Christmas as well, which wasn't the best. I was surfing for Japanese language sites online and found Japanese Pod101...I started listening and was hooked. I now have a membership and listen to Japanese Pod 101 as I drive to and from work each day. I have actually been known to listen to my mp3 while going to sleep. (My husband thinks I am crazy!) I am actually practising Japanese in my sleep, I think! I enjoy listening to Peter and Sakura each day and love their natural interaction and teaching style. The lesson notes are wonderful and I have them printed off in a binder so that I can review them later. I know that Japanese is a daunting language but thanks to JapanesePod101, I am getting it bit by bit...Thank you so much for all your hard work! Ganbatte!!Read full review »

When (one can always dream) I go back I will know...Read full review »
