“I'm been listening for..oh...about a year or so now and I've really found this podcast helpful. While not a lesson-y podcast it does give you an idea of how japanese sounds in more everyday speech and also teaches those oddball little words, phrases and grammer points that rarely seem to come up during actual lessons or lesson type casts. “I personally believe learning by immersion is great. If I could sit at a cafe and overhear people talking in Japanese all day, I would naturally pick up on high/lows, pronunciation, emotions associated with phrases, etc. I couldn't learn 100% completion but a good majority.
