“Notes in Spanish is the best system I have found for learning Spanish, especially if you are interested in learning Spanish the way it is spoken in Spain.
The podcasts are both interesting and entertaining and cover a wide range of topics that give you practical vocab and specific phrases that you can really use immediately. The focus is absolutely on conversation, but grammar is also presented in the most non-boring way possible.
I have learnt more from Notes in Spanish than from a month of intensive Spanish classes in Madrid.
It is well worth purchasing the extra materials that go with the podcasts to enhance your learning, and the website and forum are a fabulous resource.
